Photographer's Comments

19th October 2000

On a clear day I was driving past the Moor Hospital and decided to call in to get some pictures. The hospital was an impressive building but had been closed since the beginning of the year. I wandered around the grounds and took some pictures but was aware of many posters warning people the grounds were out of bounds. There was a phone number on the posters of a security firm so I called them and asked if I could get closer. I was told I could not enter the building but a care taker would meet me to show me around the grounds. I wandered up to the entrance and found him. He suggested I wander alone, so I did.

The pictures of the inside were taken by pushing my camera up to the window.
