INFORMATION
General Information
During the year 2000 D J Clark built a visual record of the Lancaster &
Morecambe district using photographs and information submitted by those that
feature in the pictures. The project was conducted in association with Lancaster
Museum and has been archived for future generations to look back at the district
at the turn of the new Millennium. For more information on the project visit

Date: 20th August
Location: Hest Bank
After a good day and the Morecambe and Heysham carnival I went home and later returned in the hope of some strong images along the Prom at last light. After setting off I realised I was too early so went to Hest Bank as an on the spot decision. I headed for the beach and got caught by a train at the crossing. I probably spent about half an hour wandering the village and front, before going on to Morecambe Prom.
